Registered Dietitian, MDA S2017-002
Nutrition is personal. So is the reason I chose it.
Registered dietitian, certified diabetes educator and founder of Home Dietitians. Eight years turning clinical nutrition into decisions people can act on.
Where It Began
Before nutrition became my profession, it was already part of my family’s story.
Jaceme grew up in Malacca, and her path into dietetics did not begin in a lecture hall. It began at home, in the everyday reality of food, health and family.
A career built one patient, one company, one conversation at a time.
The Personal Wake-Up
Becoming a Dietitian
Jaceme trained in dietetics and registered with the Malaysian Dietitians Association under registration MDA S2017-002. She later built on that clinical base with a professional portfolio in nutritional medicine at University College of Yayasan Pahang, certification as a diabetes educator with the International Diabetes Federation, and SCOPE certification from the World Obesity Federation.
Working With Patients
Across more than eight years of one-to-one consultations, her clinical work has centred on diabetes, kidney disease, cancer nutrition and weight management. Consulting in English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia, she learned the discipline that defines her work today: advice only matters if the person in front of you can actually live with it.
Building Home Dietitians
In 2023 she founded Home Dietitian Consultancy Sdn Bhd, better known as Home Dietitians, to bring registered dietitian care out of the hospital and into everyday life. The practice sees clients at its clinic in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, and online across Malaysia.
Expanding Into HDC Medical
Consultation was never the whole picture. As co-founder of HDC Medical, Jaceme extends the work into blood tests and health screening, functional medicine assessment with customised nutraceutical support, and HRD Corp claimable corporate wellness programmes, delivered with doctors, pharmacists and fellow dietitians from the same clinic in Mutiara Damansara. Home Dietitians helps people act on their health; HDC Medical helps them see it clearly first.
Educating Companies and Communities
As an HRD Corp accredited trainer, Jaceme delivers corporate wellness programmes on diabetes management, cholesterol and cardiovascular health, hypertension, weight management and chronic disease prevention. Her public health voice has reached national audiences through 8TV, Ai FM and BFM.
The Next Chapter
The mission has not changed since the beginning: help people understand what is happening inside their bodies, and give them a practical way to act on it. The next chapter is about doing that at greater scale, through education, partnerships and public speaking.
What I believe
Health advice should be understandable.
Nutrition should fit real life.
People should understand their numbers, not fear them.
Prevention should begin before a diagnosis.
Good healthcare should guide people, not overwhelm them.
Areas of Expertise
Clinical depth, communicated simply.

The work, measured in people.
Twelve kilograms in ten weeks, no shortcuts
Situation
A client living with morbid obesity, and the conditions that travel with it, arrives after years of diets that never lasted.
Jaceme’s role
Design a diet he genuinely enjoys and can keep for good, applying SCOPE training from the World Obesity Federation. No supplements, no injections, no crash protocols.
Outcome
Twelve kilograms lost in the first ten weeks from a 134 kg starting point, with progress continuing. A story Jaceme first shared publicly in 2023.
Corporate education that changes behaviour
Situation
An employer wants more than an annual health talk that everyone forgets by Friday.
Jaceme’s role
Deliver structured, HRD Corp claimable training on diabetes, cholesterol, hypertension and weight, built for real workplaces.
Outcome
Awaiting a confirmed, consented corporate example before publication.
Patient stories will appear here only with consent and full anonymisation.
